Think we need a "One Tom Farmer" song tomorrow night. Not aimed at our new owners, but as a thank you for every thing he has done for the club when he wasn't a supporter beforehand.
Legend. A great of the club.
Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction

STF saved us from the Mercer takeover and did it all with a thoroughly professional approach that left those wishing for the demise of our great club, open mouthed and really pissed off!
Thank you Sir Tom, thank you does not sound anywhere close to describing just how us fans feel about you (and your able lieutenant RP) and what you have done for our club.
Naming a stand as a permanent recognition of your contribution to the success of HFC is the very least we can do and I hope this happens ASAP.
God bless you.

As others have said - naming a Stand or the Training Centre after Sir Tom is the least that we could do to say thank you

The horrible dark days of well intentioned but ultimately doomed Duff and Gray and the terrible times of the very ill intentioned days of the Mercer takeover bid are still quite raw for me even now. But what Sir Tom did was a marvellous act of selfless generosity. He didn't seek to gain but to save.
I've met him a few times and always enjoyed talking to him, a self efacing man of great generosity.
Thank you Sir Tom.

From what we were when he found us, to what we are when he left us.
what a legacy.
one that could never have been imagined in 1990. he took pelters from some totally ignorant to what the plan was, today shows that he's been right all along.
legend.
