With 4 central defenders already I doubt it. Porteous hasn't even secured his place and he's far ahead of anyone else from youth side.

If he recaptures his form that he showed prior to that nasty injury, I will not be surprised if he is our 1st choice CB.

Well if course but if Hanlon and McGregor play as good as they have in the past he'll not get ahead of them.

I said involved in the first team, not starting. This season I would expect Sadiki to be involved in match day squads and named to some benches.

Hence why first team squads are generally bigger than 18 players, injuries happen.

I think there will be two forwards and a midfielder in with Kamberi and Shaw out.

If kamberi goes that would need to be some two forwards we are getting in.shaw out on loan to see what a run can do for him.

Slivka and Whittaker are the only players out of contract at the end of this season. Given we currently have only one player on loan, next summer could see very little transfer activity with the emphasis on quality in rather than quantity.
