Sitting in a half empty stand with no atmosphere wasn't selling it to us and it looks like it will be even worse this season.

Its not even as if walk ups will be able to fill it either. Folk will be scrambling about looking for derby tickets etc. and the FF lower will have hundreds of empty seats. An adult and child section should be in the upper not lower section and with a more limited capacity. It’s baffling that the club don’t realise this and it will look terrible to a UK audience seeing rows of empty seats at a derby match. It’s not a good advert for Hibs.

It’s the obvious solution.
Yes folk will be pissed off at getting moved but it would improve ER long term.

As an earlier poster said, if it was rammed with noisy fans it would give the team a huge lift when attacking down that end.

Still time but the Board must be aware of this and one further marquee signing could be difference between us matching last season or not
If we end up being 500 down on last Season it’s a sizeable chunk to loose and don’t want us slipping back the way if at all possible

Yep, they're stuck at the fourth highest number of ST sales ever.
Need to see if we can make it into third before the league season starts

According to estimates on JKB that leaves us about 400 sales behind them.
Hopefully we announce 12,500 before the end of the month and then 13,000 as the league season begins.
Any supporters on here still who are still to purchase and intend to?Last edited by CMurdoch; 19-07-2019 at 06:15 PM.

An older guy I know who was angry at getting squeezed out of the FF lower finally caved last week and renewed in the FF upper.
The final pay day before the St Mirren game hopefully sees the stragglers do their thing.
Hibs Kids are still to buy which will be another 100 approx.
Hopefully we are not to far down on last seasons total come August 3rd.

3 weeks further on and we are well behind that figure so there are quite a few season ticket holders from last season who haven't renewed yet.
Fingers crossed quite a few of them intend renewing in the next 2 weeks.

17th of July 2018 we'd sold 13.1k
17th of July 2019 we'd sold 12.3k
think we had 13.4k by kick off last year
800 down so far, if we can hit 13k by kick off I'll be pleasantly astounded but it can't be senied that we were riding a crest of a wave last year, first year back in the top flight and finished on record points while showing up well in the big games (Yams, Celtic and huns) Lennon for what many think of him now gave out that big name manager feeling and we weren't rolling over to the tims on John McGinn, we were in a really good place so you can see why fans who might not always buy season tickets felt compelled to get one, we didn't do ourselves justice laat season though, particularly at home, 6 wins from 19 games wasn't the bounce you'd hope to get from record sales.

Hibs have really clamped down on those abusing the concession ST system. Be interesting to see the sales split between Adult / Concession, as I’d hazard a guess the percentage split this year having increased for Adults.

I could understand the club's position if the FF lower was packed to the rafters week in week out but no matter the size of the game it's half empty at best every 2nd weekend.
It looks bad on TV and as said we should have an intimidating full stand right behind the opposition keeper as we attack in the 2nd half.
At this point I can only think it's stubbornness on the clubs part that is stopping them from admitting the policy is a f up.

With the increase in price, it may be that these two thirds will actually turn up for most games so it won’t look any emptier than it has done. In addition there will be space for adult with child tickets to be sold game to game, so those seats will be sold and actually filled.
Think it will look a lot better this season.

It's actually over 80% sold in FF Lower, which is almost exactly the same percentage as the other three stands (excluding the executive seating).

And as I said, if remaining seats are filled with walk ups it will be better filled and almost certainly more revenue going to the club compared to last year.

I agree and I think that will actually happen. That wasn't really an option the last couple of seasons,as you could rarely book two seats together, so there may well be more people actually in the FF Lower.
A lot of people will be watching the situation with interest, I'd imagine :-)
