Jose Quitongo on Hearts (NHC - but very accurate)

In today's Times. "I was invited to a couple of Hearts matches but I saw nothing" he said. "Why would you want to take kids if nothing is happening? It was all just: boom, boom, boom! When you're playing football you should be able to stop the ball and look for the movement of your team-mates. I'm not going to pay money to watch that long ball stuff....Hearts reached the Scottish Cup Final but it's bad for entertainment. Any time I take my kids to games I want them to be inspired and to see something they would want to copy. There's no point in kids watching games if the ball is in the air all the time."

I disagree strongly with jose, I think craig levine is doing a cracking job at hearts 👌😉.

I find it difficult to believe that anyone's kids wouldn't be inspired by the towels at the side of the pitch and the long throws in to the box.

Boys a yam if you ask me, not a word about organised formation fouling to break up play, and falling over as a tactic.

"I did not need any persuasion to play for such a great club, the Hibs result is still one of the first I look for"
