    Predictions for Saturday?

When's all's said and done any win will do but it would be heartening to see it done with a bit of style thrown in.

    2-1 to Hibs

  8. #7
Difficult start as we struggle to break down another side content to sit in. Fans will start to get a bit restless and we'll huff and puff for 60 minutes or so. There will be the odd scare and there will be at least one save of note from our keeper. A bit of Allan magic sometime between 60 and 70 mins will put us 1 up and we'll add another late on to make it look more comfortable than it actually was.

2-0 Hibs. A result that will contain the growing criticism for another week but a performance that will still raise more than a few questions.

Got a mate who's a Morton fan so been keeping up to date with their progress. Scoring a lot of goals, but defence leaking them badly. Expect 3-1 to Hibs to be a decent shout.

    4-2

People to not be satisfied regardless of the result as a narrow victory will result in "we should be blowing these teams away" and a resounding victory will result in "it's not impressive to beat teams that easily"

Might not be high scoring, but will see a reaction from last week with a good performance and the start of a 6 match winning streak

    2-0 Hibs.

I cant even imagine the reaction if we get beat. People will be burning Heckingbottom effigy's outside the ground!

I predict a comfortable win. After the match the general mood on Hibs.net will be 'jury's still out', 'they were only lower league opposition', 'not convinced by Hecky or his signings', 'blah, blah, long season ahead', 'gone by Christmas' etc.

If my prediction is wrong and we lose, Hibs.net will meltdown, beds will be wet, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth, possibly a plague of locusts and a Hibs fan in Lochend will start building an ark, just in case.

Either way, if you're a happy clapper like me, it won't be worth returning for a day or two.

on second thought 6-1, our defence will leak a goal.

There's no chance that Mallan will score against Morton. Would be willing to bet loads that he won't score.

There is a serious question as to whether this is the game to have him sit on the bench and play SLivka and Vela with Allan in a midfield with Horgan and Middleton wide and Flo or Doidge up top !! That midfield gives us greater movement and better legs in it !!

Why not put them out of their misery and tell them he is suspended? Is he suspended for defo?
