Fair play BBC had him down as him leaving after he rejected the offer a day or so ago

Do they not have something like a 200% wages to turnover ratio?

Don't the FA have any rules in place to prevent things like that?

That's what I thought, but I'm sure that when the figures were released a few weeks ago, Birmingham's were the worst.

Think the got a points deduction last season
Wonder if they used a clause in Monk’s contract, to remove him, get someone cheaper in

They were docked nine points - took them from just below the competition for play-off spots to just above the relegation battle, so no real damage done.

Yes, yammish type overspend at St Andrews, current wage bill is 210% of annual turnover. They are on a fast track to a brick wall at the moment

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Bit concerning that a local paper is reporting that, they’re likely to have good inside knowledge from the club.

Surely we've got to tell them to gtf. Unless they pay a huge amount of compensation it's not going to be worth it. Having to replace him now would be too much of a disruption to the beginning of the season.

Depends if he starts talking about wanting to see other bags of sweeties.

If a manager wants to go somewhere else you’re pretty powerless to stop it as a manager who doesn’t want to be here is no good to anyone.

Not that there is any suggestion from Hecky that is the case, it’s just the only scenario I can see where he would move on at this stage.

Aye I just read the article, interesting.

See McCann is the preferred choice at this point unless Doncaster deny them permission, you’d hope we’d say the same

A bit worrying though. If not now then probably just a matter of time before we have another upheaval. I'd imagine our club already have ideas on who they'd go for next.
