Best car for a Hearts Supporter (NHC)

Ok I'm bored of their being no proper football and no new strip (PETRIE !!!)

So how about we have a competition to find the most ideal car for a Hearts fan...

Here is my offering a beautiful 1987 Rover 213 in Maroon. Anyone beat that ?

If it's got beige faux leather seats and a holder for the anti glare night driving glasses this'll be the shortest thread ever as we'll already have a winner.

    A hearts car?

Something small and ugly, doesn't function properly and tends to have a right t0sser at the wheel.

Surely FoH should buy this, add some little flags at the front corners, and gift it to Queen Budge for use on official occasions?

A nice Hearts tartan throw for the back seats would add a little extra class.

Only a true Hearts fan would wear faux leather driving gloves while driving that

You know what I'm thinking would look quite Hearts-natty on the driver of that car?

The first car I remember was my grandad's (big Hibs man) MAROON mark three Cortina. Never did find out why he bought that thing. It was stolen once, but, sadly, he got it back.

The driver's seat is in the back and the (temporary) boot is on the side.

My entry is the above. I find these motors often exclusively driven by complete tossers

(Apologies in advance if anyone has one of these on here)

The late 70s/early 80s were really peak Jambo car buying time, I think. Plenty of room to pack the spare cardigan in this beaut.

Is it British Leyland? Eighties maroon Lada, Skoda, or, for the up market, Saab, for your golf playing, Tory voting Jambo. Made for each other.

When we were kids, a neighbour had the 'talking Maestro'. I think it might have been the first car which told you the seatbelt wasn't buckled, plus a few other things. At the time I thought it must have been like Kit from Knight Rider.

Would any of you consider this to be a typical Jambo’s car?

A 1986 model that breaks down on in the last mile of every journey would be better.

Had one as a fleet car at work, biggest pile of junk I ever drove, wouldn't even wish it on a jambo.

Our jambo boss replaced them with brown coloured Austin allegro's which had square shaped steering wheels!! Another awful car.

He had a beige Austin Princess van den plas, very jamboesque, got written off early in its life.

It’d be a bubble car. They are used to them bursting.

Hearts fans wife was driving one day with her sister. Sister leant forward and asked ‘what does the wee knob in front of the dashboard do’?

Hearts fans wife says ‘he drives it’.
