I had a few beers with some Dundee United fans pre-match and they were quite optimistic, after having just won the Scottish Cup for the first time at the end of the previous season. Think 3 of them were in Middies by half-time and they ended up getting relegated.

Yep, but drew far too many games and didn't win enough away from home. Had to win our last 4 games to have a chance of overtaking Motherwell. Won 3 and drew the other 1-1 at home v Celtic, who were wasting time at the end to hold on to a point.
