    That’s shocking

Just read that on Twitter. Always tended to look out for him purely because of his surname. 49 is way too young.
    RIP Justin Edinburgh.

I'd imagine there's hundreds I'd not thousands of Edinburgh based football fans who looked out for him based on his name. I certainly did.

Really, really sad, 49 is no age.

Tragically premature for what you'd think would be a fit guy!
One of the best nicknames in the business though, "Musselburgh" as it's just in Edinburgh.

Sad news. Always mixed him up with Colin Calderwood as one played for Scotland.

So sad. I used to see Spurs play with him in the team.

I used to call him Gogar at the time.

    Sad news.

I always looked out for him when goalscorers names came up on TV just because of his name.

And amazing how often it happens to apparently very fit people, e.g. professional or elite sports people (current and former).

I remember him growing up playing for Tottenham and always remembered him for his surname.

Really sad that he's died so relatively young, a reminder to everyone to enjoy life while you can.

I watched him playing for Spurs and I was at Wembley when they beat Arsenal in the FA Cup semi and Nottingham Forest in the final in 1991.

I used to call him Penicuik. It amused me, but no-one else got it.

    RIP Penicuik.

I went to Wembley for this year’s FA Trophy, with friends who are Orient supporters.

They didn’t play well to be fair but Justin Edinburgh has got them promoted back into the league pretty comfortably which was the main prize. He was rightly popular with the fans.

Very sad day for the club and devastating for his family. Thoughts and condolences with them and all who were close to him.
