I was there years ago and there was a casino at the beach that had a sports bar. Not sure if that's still there but will ask on the Oz Hibs Facebook page and let you know

No problem. One of the guys has replied with details from an Oz Spurs Facebook page about a meet up in Port Douglas, but that's 68km away

Could be a starting point for you to search though as you might find a Liverpool one too

Unfortunately an 8 bed dorm in a hostel doesn’t hold that luxury !!😂
