Pretty poor standard to be honest, some of the first touches are worthy of Sunday pub leagues.

Dundee United goal keeper looking solid - might end up being the difference.

Come on the Saints. Allergic to Utd ever since being relegated in the home game against them. Plus the Matty Jack episode. Bunch of t1ts.

BT couldn’t resist mentioning Hibs going down via the playoffs when Stanton came on.

If there is a God BT will change their mind and not show the second leg. That was torture.

Standard of football in the 2nd half tonight was dire. Couldn't put it down to nerves.

I quite enjoyed it in parts, nice to see a full stadium, over 11k, a decent playing surface, it reminds me why I cringe when Hamilton v Livingston or Livingston v Hamilton is on TV an awful spectacle.

The more i watched the game and saw Neilson and Sow the more i wanted St Mirren to win. United fans also seem to sing every Celtic song there is.

Commentators seem to be saying Neilson has done an amazing job, has he really he was given loads of money to spend on players in Jan and he got into the play offs, whoopee, doo. They clearly could win the second game but hope not as they looked poor and wasnt a good game generally. The two Kyles for Saints look half decent.

Didn't watch that game but I'll probably watch the second leg.
Even if the football isn't the best it's always good to watch a game with something riding on it, especially if it involves Hibs in a way. I have a lot of mates who support United so them coming up would mean at least 3 pretty big days/ nights out for me.
United coming up might spell bad news for Hibs though, as I suspect they might have a wee bit of cash to spend.
I'm looking forward to the English play-offs this weekend, I have next to no interest in the Scottish Cup final.Last edited by Smartie; 24-05-2019 at 08:31 AM.

Went into my den to watch this and left the wife with her soaps. Was looking forward to a close, exiting game but it was garbage. Hardly two passes strung together all evening. Will watch again on Sunday as just has to be better. McMullan showed good pace for Utd and McAllister showed some nice touches for Saints but neither team, on that showing, would be anywhere near top six.
