The 200 Hibs players Lewis Stevenson has played alongside

    Some list here!

The 200 Hibs players Lewis Stevenson has played alongside

How many can you remember, and how many do you want to forget?

I decided to read the list to the tune of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start The Fire” made it more fun!

Even Lewis will be looking at some of these names and going "did I really?"

I had to Google Grzegorz Szamotulski & Kleton Perntreou (both goalies with 5 appearances between them).

I've managed to totally forget Keith Watson even though he apparently made 9 appearances.

And they've only listed the one Sowumni brother!

Yep, one of the better keepers we've had in recent years and was a welcome break from the likes of Zibi, Makalambay, Brown etc. Could have sworn he played far more than 3 games though

I hope LS brings out a warts n’ all book when he hangs his boots up. Would be a brilliant read.

    I’ve even got the title - “Lewey’s got 2”.

He could be the next Robert Louis Stevenson…

    Blimey! Some absolute stinkers there.
Riordan and O'Connor though. Lump in throat time.

Wasn't a terrible player. Scored a last minute header vs Livi in a 2-1 and set up El Alagui vs Hearts

What about Hakim Sar-Temsoury? And that Egyptian? Boy signed by Mixu? Zarabi? (Edit: He’s there)

I think Sar-Temsoury was already in the boozer by the time Lewis broke through.

Think h was a bit of a lad. Can remember I was staying at Meadowbank and getting a bus to work (back of 8 in the morning) and he was jumping into a taxi looking like heading home from night out.

Some good and some very average players in that list.

Just goes to show how versatile Lewis had to be to play in some of our teams with many substandard players in them.

He has kept his level up and produced some great displays in that jersey and played in every manager we have had team!

I noticed on Sunday that he had a very emotional hug with Marvin on the field after the walk round. Wont have him around to protect him now.

    A shame....

Not sure Marvin needs any protection

Marvin might not but Lewis is only a wee fella and all the bad boy footballers pick on him.

Marvin used to come to his rescue.

I've said it before, we should rename the training centre after him when he retires. Every single player who steps through the doors at HTC, whether they are a youngster or established player, should aspire to be like Lewis Stevenson and should be reminded of that every single day.

Hakim Sar-Temsoury left Hibs about 4 years before Stevenson made his debut.

A good start and a good end. Between Zemmama and David Gray there is some amount of garbage.

Kevin Mcbride, used to rave about him because he could play a simple pass I suppose he found his level
