Just took the opportunity presented by the slight depression in prices we have seen since this announcement to upgrade my already excellent P20 Pro Smartphone to a P30 Pro. Confident that this is all political bluster and Huawei will come out the other end stronger.

Were you mid contract or due an upgrade anyway?

I have the P20 pro currently but only half way through my contract (I think).

Hmmm, it is all political bluster but there is a potential problem in that Huawei devices might stop getting security updates to the Android OS itself. I think the longer term position on that is unclear atm.
