Always gave 100% and appreciated playing in the green jersey. Cup winning hero. Thanks for the memories Marv

    Good luck Marv.
Right man for us at the time he joined, part of the reason club started believing in itself again

One of the biggest (and best) personalities we’ve had at Easter Road.

He has captained Hibs at Tynecastle and won in the other this season. His record against them is nearly Sauzee-esq.

The roof would lift off if he managed to depart with a goal.

All good things come to an end.

He leaves with my thanks and best wishes.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

So sad to see him go a true professional and great ambassador for the club. He really got Hibs and never let them down.

Thanks Marvin for all the great memories and moments in that Hibs jersey you wore so proudly.

Good luck for the future, you will always be welcome at Easter Road and known as a Hibs Legend.

    Keep smiling !

Absolute legend who will always hold the love and affection of us Hibs supporters.

He "got" the club and was integral in rebuilding us from the depths we were in.

Thank you Marv and all the best at Livi - great news for him getting a 3 year deal that hopefully sets him up nicely for the future.

Always welcome back at Easter Road with open arms

Really gutted to see him go but it's best for both of parties.

He'll be welcome at Easter Road any time.

Gutted. What’s the odds his first goal at Easter road is for Livingston?

A great player to have for the games that needed a bit of steel. Marv could be a hard man to replace.

So sad to see Marv go. He really gave us a solid steel backbone when we absolutely needed it most, his performances and attitude against the ****bos will long be remembered. A cup winning LEGEND! Welcome forever!

Hearts supporters hated him; for good reason. Put in some awesome performances against them. Really sad to hear he's going. A class act!

    An absolute legend.

A machine in the middle of the park, he let the more gifted players play.

He squeezed one hell of a lot into 4 years

    Scottish Cup Winner
    Championship Title Winner
    League Cup Final
    Numerous Semi Finals
    Europe
    Derby giant

Love you big man, gutted youre going, only good thing is we will see you back.

All the best Marv.....a great servant to the Hibees and a great bloke. Good luck

Couldn’t have dreamt what he would be to the club when he signed. Presence, passion and personality as well as being pretty under rated as a player at times. Almost universally popular with Hibs fans which is very difficult to achieve.

Sunday could be a bit of a choker.

All the very best to him, a genuine cup legend and did as much as anybody to restore the club's dignity after the debacle that got us relegated. Love the big guy, he'll always be welcome at Easter Road

PS … Lots of folk hoping we get a penalty on Sunday an Marv takes it, me included …. he'll probably miss

Could be the difference to them staying up. Terrific signing for them.

    Marvin Bartley derby record:

    Played: 10
    Won: 5
    Drawn: 4
    Lost: 1

And the winning goal in his only loss was scored after he had been substituted.
