Cheers, Marvin and all the best.
A wholehearted player, not the greatest technically but he always put in a shift for the Hibees!

Thanks for four great years Marvin, especially for those derby performances. You'll be missed.
The big question going forward: is it the Matty Jack role or the Marvin Bartley role?

A guy who really got the club and the fans, owned the hearts physically and that's saying something.
I'm kind of gutted he's going but it's understandable if he wants game time.
Nothing but great memories of the guy. All the best Marvin.

And thus departs another hero from that day in May...
His mere presence on the bench struck the fear of God into those weegie savages....

Thank you Marvin.

A huge part in changing the mentality at the club. Hearts fans hated him because he stood up to them and bullied them in derbies.
He solved a problem that had existed for us for a long while and he did it with genuine enthusiasm and passion for the club. He goes with my best wishes and thanks.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

Always loved Marvin, maybe not the most technically gifted, but the heart of a lion and every team needs that. He'll always be a Hibby.

Hibs hero. Bossed herts like far too few in green have done.

Genuine thanks go to him for being a big part of the club being reborn. He is forever a legend and as others have said his performances in the derby were outstanding and something we had missed against them for a very long time.
I'm currently on holiday and will miss the game on Sunday but I'm gutted I won't be there for his final appearance.
Good luck for the future Marvin.

Genuinely sad to hear that but probably for the best, for both parties. He can forever call himself a Hibs legend and will always be welcomed back to Easter Road. We run this city.

More than played his part during what was a great few years at Hibs, and it wasn’t just his physical presence and midfield spoiler style of play that endeared him to the fans, it was more the fact he totally got Hibs.
A solid professional and one who will always be welcomed at Easter Road for the rest of his days.

Gutted to see him go, absolutely love the guy. I don't have a single bad word to say about him, never let us down and was utterly fearless.
Best of luck, Marvin.Follow the Hibs podcast, Longbangers, on Twitter (@longbangers)
