Can anyone recommend one. The current one never gets back to us without numerous calls and emails. It's chronic.

I've used a company through in Glasgow www.taylorcarmichael.co.uk - David Carmichael, had a couple of mortgages through them.
David is very good and was always available to talk to and also very up front about all the charges and fees so there were no surprises.

On the subject of mortgages my fixed term deal is up at the end of the summer (Late August/September I think), I’m keen to shop about and try to get the best deal possible this time around, when should I start to shop about? I’m guessing there’s no point doing it too early as the deals and rates change frequently?

Just ask an advisor/broker/lender and I'm sure they'll keep you right.Mon the Hibs.
