Andrew Dallas: Just not good enough

Yes we were rubbish today but without the penalty it's a 0-0. Not the first time Andrew Dallas has decided a game with awful officiating this season and yet it's done with impunity. Hope Hecky calls the useless twat out.

That's what happens when refs who clearly aren't good enough are fast tracked through the leagues

Especially when they've only been fast tracked because of who their dad is

It must be frustrating for decent refs with actual potential being left behind for guys like Dallas. I doubt he's a bad guy hes just not good enough for this level the same way some players aren't good enough.

It's not what you know, it's who you know.

Better refs than Andrew Dallas were overlooked whilst he was fast tracked because of who and what Daddy was.

Are we really going to play the "he's just incompetent" card again?

If he saw what happened today he doesn't give a penalty. If he doesn't see what happened he can't give a penalty. He must just be a cheating *******

I'd be willing to bet anyone my last penny that, if the exact same incident had happened against Rangers (and probably Celtic) Dallas wouldn't have awarded the penalty. Welt.

Glad to see he has been given a Premiership game this weekend. Dundee v St Mirren.

Yes, no need to beat about the bush. AD is a hun and huns tend not to like Hibs. Killie are a bit hunnish ergo AD awards a non-penalty for Killie against Hibs. Enough to beat a lacklustre Hibs team on the day and mission accomplished for AD.

It's what happens in Scottish football regularly and will keep on happening until we get VAR.

That was the most ridiculous penalty award since..............his last penalty award! Seriously have to question this guy's judgement.

Really? You would have confidence in the people who would review VAR?

I’d say giving four penalties to the huns against St Mirren earlier this season is a big clue as to where his allegiances lie. And he’s also incompetent.

There's better refs all over Scotland who never get promoted, then leave the game. Refereeing in Scotland is a local job for local people.

Got slaughtered on the radio after the game. Not good enough but continues to earn £750 a game for something that is a hobby for him. He has single handedly decided the outcome of more than one game this season. Needs to be binned from the top leagues. No better than league 2/3!!

When you see him trying to explain himself to players you can see he doesn’t believe what he’s saying himself. Also tries to be pals with everyone - lots of shoulder touching etc... which I’m guessing is all he can do to keep players onside.
That one decision alone just proved what an absolutely terrible ref he is. Does not understand the game.

While the 'penalty ' today was a joke it's not even close to being his worst of the season. The one he awarded to St Johnstone against hearts should have been enough to get him sacked there and then.

When it comes to awarding penalties, Andrew Dallas clearly goes for quantity over quality. He is quite simply a very poor referee fast tracked into a position he doesn’t have the skills to operate in due to external factors ergo his Dad was a very good referee.

Andrew Dallas: Just not good enough

Don’t think he’s biased. Don’t think he’s a cheat. Simply think he is not good enough.

Hibernian head coach Paul Heckingbottom said: "It's not a penalty. That's not the reason we lost the game, we lost the game because we were rubbish. "There's nothing more to say. We looked like a team that had nothing to play for."
