I’m pleasantly surprised at the reaction to the home one as I’m not a fan at all.

    Away top is class though.
Home one isn’t great but the away one is the best since 1995

    I told you all.....
Well done on eventually getting it right.

So when you buy the kit you pay £5 to get the Community logo put on it.... if you do that this money will go direct to the Community Club.

I'm the same, but as we see on Hibs.net daily, we all have different opinions and are all valued for them

I like the home one but wish the white collar went all the way round and that the stripes on the away were akin to the old green and purple one

The lack of an outside sponsor is a bit strange as well

Will the club be losing a shed load of money or will investment be put in to cover the loss on sponsorship?

Thats actually an excellent initiative (perhaps borne out of a cock up, but who cares) and really hits the spot for me.

p.s. that away top is amazeballs !

No sponsor on the online kit.
You pay a £5 to add it to the kit and the money goes to the community foundation.

    Why are Hibs so sexy?

The statement says there will be no detrimental effect to the playing budget.
I can't really see how that could be the case though if I'm honest.

But I'm a big fan of the away top and the lack of sponsorship probably enhances that a little.

Unless there is someone putting money into the club to compensate. That is a possibility

The only things I can see would be they expect more income, it's being funded from elsewhere or the player budget is not getting all of any extra money (basically from McGinn), but the player budget will be still be more than expected/normal due to this windfall

Away looks a wee bit similar to one I designed and another I’ve seen on here too... great minds (for those who like it).

I think the away is smashing!

Part of me has been dreading this day but I’m absolutely delighted with those two, macron or not. Away top especially is something else and it’s such a relief that we’re back in our proper green.

Hearts dont get money from STC, but someone puts cash to Hearts who then have STC on the jersey "for free".

Its not always as cut and dried as it seem.

If LD says the player budget is unaffected, it works for me.

Same here! I would pay £5 for a top without a sponsor normally as I prefer them plain.

  30. #1229
Think I'll keep it blank and give the fiver for sponsorship anyway.

    Good initiative
