Didn't hold up much of hope of getting him back but ridiculous to lose out to a club with a third of our fans.

Whats to explain? I just don't think being part of the British Isles helps us with a tv deal. Most countries are not part of an Island with a huge power in football. They have their own tv stations etc.

Not overly fussed about Omeonga.

Hes a not bad player but I don’t think he’s what we need.

Hes fully of energy and is sharp, but he’s not good enough defensively or offensively to cement a place in our team imo. We need a good defensively minded midfielder and a tricky/pacey winger to really kick on the team.

I just don’t see where Omeonga would have fit into the team, he would be a good option to have but I think the money saved on wages and fee would be better spent elsewhere.

Wish him all the best as he is a very likeable guy and gave his all for us.

What would change would be the license to broadcast in an Indy Scotland and the retention of funds currently syphoned off by the BBC to pay for rights to sports we have no interest in.

Imagine SKY, Virgin, BT etc being told that their broadcast rights into Scotland would be regulated in relation to the revenue they raised. Investment would improve in Scottish sport not just football.

I've always said this, he is just the type of guy to do something as outrageous as this, really would not like seeing him in a Hearts top at all.

This is a weird argument.What sports that we are not interested in do the BBC syphon off money to?Don't understand what you mean re SKY etc.Do you mean revenue raised for the sports or revenue raised for the TV companies .If you mean they wouldn't get a license to broadcast unless they paid more money to a sport they'd just jigger off which is exactly what they did before with Scottish football.As we know they're not charities and will make a commercial decision.
