Noticed Brandon Barker said his good byes to PNE on twitter earlier today.
Given that’s a position we’ll be after I’d assume there must be a very good chance we’ll be in for him again.
Transfer Market website says he’s out of contract this summer but think someone posted a link before saying he’s still got another season at Man City.

Injured a lot of the time and hooked at half time in a derby at ER.
Did show in glimpses he could be a very handy player to have

The only problem with Brandon Barker is injuries. I read recently that’s 9 hamstring injuries in his career limiting him to around 65 first team matches including his spell with us. Exciting player though but with our recent injury list we would need to be careful who we sign.

We’ve not got the same cash as they do though so probably need to take more of a gamble on players like him.

Think Hecky must like him too, as he’s played him as soon as he’s fit

Yesterday Heckingbottom mentioned in the post match interview that he thinks we don’t create enough chances.
I think he will look to add real quality in the attacking positions.
Scott Allan is the difference between a average/good side and a very good side imo. The way he takes others out the game and sets up chances is incredible and really quite sad how since his brilliant loan spell with us last season he’s not kicked a ball.
He also seemed to add goals and work rate to his style of play too which is pleasing.
Can see Heck getting a lot of options of the top end of the park, young energetic guys who have the composure to use the ball right when in the correct position.
As it stands attacking wise for next season we have the following confirmed
Kamberi
Shaw
Scotty Allan
Fraser Murray
Boyle
Horgan
That’s for players who could play an attacking midfield, wide or striker position
It’s really not a lot when you consider potentially 4 could be playing at the same time, with 1 striker and 3 in behind. 1 of them being Fraser Murray who although looks promising, has it all to prove.
I expect
1 or 2 strikers
1 winger
2 central midfielders

Aidan Nesbitt also free agent now after leaving Dundee United.
Were we not linked with him before he signed for MK Dons?

Fair enough you are feeding on scraps but you are still not taking your chances imo.

I said when we signed Agyepong that his issues will be hamstring injuries.
As such a fast player he has been prone to them every where he has played previously.
It’s a shame as there is a player there and he’s such a nice guy but we need a Boyle part 2 who is consistent. Obviously Boyle was unfortunate this season to get injured.
Barker also suffered with injuries but less frequent than Agyepong. When he played well he was unplayable but his final quality let him down.
If given the choice I would have taken Barker this season over Agyepong but we didn’t have a choice as Preston offered more in the loan.
We got Agyepong who played 7 games with 1 goal.
Barker played 27 games and 2 goals..
Agyepong wants to come back..
Bottom line is we need consistency as finding a decent left winger has been near impossible over the last few years.
As for interest - I believe Hibs have asked about Dundee defender Cammy Kerr who is out of contract. Dundee right back.

Said previously Kerr would be good business. Good player who is still young, solid defensively and would compete with Gray.
Liam Burt just been released by Rangers....heard we’re interested.

I’d take wee Tam back if City offer a favourable deal.
A risk, given his injury record this season, but could pay off in a big way.

Not sure I’d want to see us take another chance on Agyepong unless we got him on loan for nout.
Too big a risk that could be money better spent elsewhere

This season wasn’t a one off, think he struggled in his two years at NAC Breda as well.
