Now you've mentioned that it's ringing bells. Only 2 times I've heard of us signing a dead ball expert was Mallan and Kujabi though

Has to be Latapy against Ayr for me.
Think his first touch was when he received the ball, turned and ran at Ayr defence.
Knew we had something special.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Le Gods debut at the old Brockville sticks in my mind . We won 2-1 .
I can remember quite a few of our signings scoring on their debut ,circa 85 .SCOTTISH CUP WINNERS 2016

Joe's Baker's second debut, I had the privilege to be at ER to see that, if not the great man in his prompt in a Hibs shirt and I also was privileged to be at the two wonderful debuts you mentioned, it all added to a great childhood.

You could tell as soon as you clapped eyes on him that he was a class apart
Suberb touch and go player
His goal versus Hearts 6-2 summed him up
Shame it did not work out for him at Easter Road
Brilliant wee guy
Always played with a smile on his face
