Absolutely bizarre the amount of people keen to defend Doherty Every time someone mentions they don't like him. They defend him more than they would defend some of our current squad who have done more for the club than that wee turd ever did

Was asked at the end of the 2012 cup final against them by a young Irish lad if he would be back at Hibs the following season and his response was “no chance”

Brilliant player, showed no less respect than Gary O'Connor for example, need to stop with the bitterness towards him.

Folk really need to get over it. It's a bit sad now. Personally I don't really have a issue with what he said

None of the Hibs players that day seemed to care based on their performances on the pitch. I’m sure O’Connor mentioned in an interview that there was a fallout the night before because they weren’t happy with their bonuses if they did win the cup. Says it all really about that squad

Some people are so bitter.
Don't imagine that Doherty will worry to much though.

I don't like him, came across as he thought himself far too good for Hibs. His subsequent career shows he was probably right, but responding 'no chance', instead of the normal footballer chat about 'we'll see what happens', or similar, didnt really help endear himself to Hibs fans. And that's leaving aside the 5-1.
I do like Wolves as a side though. Play some great football and their manager is the spitting image of a mate of mine, which is good for occasional banter.
