How does the ref not see that?

Think there is a big distance and not as close as it appears however to me he had perfect view of the one McGregor did at Aberdeen (straight leg assault on Ferguson) and definitely chose not to see it.

Reality is what are the other 3 officials watching ...one of the linesmen must be standing at the half way line as per their start point with play the players being in that line, so they should have been looking at that incident directly ...and.if none of them saw it then tv evidence as has been well used for many other compliance officer decisions albeit not very well in respect of old firm players antics ...lets see.if the compliance officer can.do the job for the match officials with this one !!

Was someone knelt down behind Brown for home to fall over like that? Don’t think the punch/push would have put my 7 year old daughter to ground.

That Gif has been altered. Watch it again in real time and Madden is looking the other way. He explained as such to Lennon at the time.

Was he on the phone to Gerrard at the time?

Amazing that not one of the other officials helped him there, or maybe it was a conference call.

He's running back from the corner where the other Celtic players were celebrating having just scored a goal. The linesman in that corner is probably busy with that too.

What the other linesman and the 4th official are watching, I don't know.

With all he had to deal with, and being a Sevconian himself I don't think it was the refs worst game, let's see if the compliance officer makes up for what he and every other official missed.

At least they've mentioned it this time. Overlooked in their first report.

The ruckass at the end of the game on the pitch only 1 booking for Halliday?
Think SKY went to adverts to avoid further chance for the compliance officer to view the scenes?
I think it will be swept under the carpet as usual, even with reports saying 3 stabbed after the game!!!

Outwith missing the Kent one I thought the ref had a good game. Although I was surprised the huns didn't make more out of the penalty shout on tavernier.

On a further separate note, the referee in the Cardiff v Chelsea didn't cover himself in glory so not just Scottish refs.

Ask Neil Warnock about English refs?

At least they are doing something about helping them though by introducing VAR, we'll continue to do the same thing and expect a different outcome.

Take a look at Jamie Carraghers tweet tonight - they did a virtual reality reconstruction of the linesman’s view yesterday. Unbelievably you can see why he didn’t give offside!
