Delighted for him - such a lightweight set of forwards that isn't it...surprised Shankland or equivalent hasn't been added too

Excellent news, delighted for him and very well deserved. SIGN HIM UP!

I take it there is no realistic chance of getting him full time in the summer? He is a classy wee player.

He's injured, as is Naismith obviously. Really low on attacking options there.

The fact that he has been called up is going to make it even more difficult to sign him.

    Very lightweight indeed.

    Naismith and Fletcher injured.
    Griffiths with his issues.

    Which other strikers are missing?

With McNulty being called up to the Scotland squad, it’s further evidence that Hibs are a club where loan players can improve and thrive, and will ensure that we can continue to attract high quality loan signings in the future. Would rather he was our own player outright though.

Maybe so, but a player joining us and finding himself in the Scotland squad a couple of months later (without previously having had a sniff) can only do good things when it comes to attracting players in future.

Big congrats to Mark, shows players that Hibs offer a platform for recognition

Wondering how Lewis Morgan gets in though. He was like a boy against men when I saw him v England at the under 21’s. Nowhere near ready for international games.

The squad seems to have a decent balance, some decent players and emerging talent in there.

Or it might make him more determined to stay. My worry would be if Celtic come sniffing.

For years we had 3 really good keepers to choose from, in Gordon, McGregor and Marshall.

You look at it now, Bain, Archer and McLaughlin...pretty *****.

Has Marshall chucked it now too? He plays every week down South.

I think it puts us in a better position now for keeping him.

In a recent interview he said one of the main reasons he came to Scotland was to try and get in the national team as he has never had a call up at any level. Just over a month with us and he has now done that.

I think he will want to return.

I doubt we can afford him. Hopefully we're putting together an offer for the other Sparky.

I really feel for young Liam Kelly at Livingston. Been outstanding this season and has more clean sheets than anyone else in the league. Completely ignored by McLeish.

Yes, he's a good keeper. I'd give him and Zander Clark chances. It's not like we've got lots of other options.

I posted on another thread - I can't remember any Hibs striker being so good at reading the line to spring offside traps and then timing his runs to perfection to find space.

If we can get him on loan again that'd be excellent (with Scott Allan to play the balls through), but if he's sold he'll probably be out of our price range.

Clever player. I thought the same after Friday night really good at timing his runs on the edge and more often than not the flag stays down - typified by the goal
