    I'm not doubting there will be an extension but it was just the certainty of the date being announced by a poster that was being queried as there doesn't appear to have been any official announcement as yet.

    Iv'e renewed my 3 seats but i really wouldn't mind moving on ...Looking on the online planner though their really isn't 3 decent seats together anywhere in all 3 stands , So i'm not so sure how the procedure works , Is it an online job once season ticket seats are released ? Or is it a phone the ticket office job and try to get seats before anyone else as quickly as possible ?..

    Worst case scenario i'm situated where i am and remain in the same seats and a helluva lot better than some of the seats that remain free online

    Nearly right, Season ticket sales will stop for a short period on that date to allow those who have already purchased to swap seats. Once that grace period is over they will go on general sale.
