Reading a tweet I noticed Franck Sauzee rated 10/10 l'Equipe Magazine.
rubbing shoulders with the likes of Messi and Neymar

nice spot. I presume those are the only players to get 10/10 performances in individual games rated by L'equip.

L'Équipe prides itself on being stingy with their famous team ratings. A solid player performance that a Scottish paper would usually give a 7 for, L'Équipe would only give a 5.
Casemiro got a 1 for last night!
Florian Thauvin totally dominated a game for Marseille this season, he scored a hattrick including a couple from distance, to my eyes was totally faultless throughout, L'Équipe only gave him 8/10.
So Franck must have been imperious that day!Last edited by hibsbollah; 06-03-2019 at 12:01 PM.

I don't read it now, but I remember the Sunday Post was like that with their ref ratings. They would say the ref had a faultless game and give him 8/10!

Franck came to us at the end of his career. Imagine how good he was in his pomp. Frightening to think about it.

Even after what Sir David did on that day...
Sauzee is still my favourite player I’ve seen pull on the green and white.

I hope Neymar and Messi appreciate this honour. No doubt le God is gracious enough to share top honours with them.

1st ever as well. There's been now 8 in the whole time they've been doing ratings. Famously stingy, but also a level of sports journalism that 90+ % of our print media can but dream of. Or at least, that was the case when I lived there and was a regular reader.

Just checking the list for Rudi Skacels name as a number of Hearts fans have told me that he was a better player

Sauzee got an 11 for his performance in the Millennium derby.

Also surely the thread title should be "Tadic rated 10 along with the likes of Messi and Sauzee"?

Highlights of the match in which Franck got a 10. Scores 2 belters. The French goalkeeper also got an 10 (Martini) but none of his saves are shown.
