Not a prediction but memory of one of my all time favourite cup ties.
As far as I remember Hibs came back from 1-0 & 2-1 to take the lead with a couple of minutes to go. Celtic got a penalty at the death, then Eddie May scored the winner in injury time. Superb shot from range.
We had already knocked them out of the league Cup that season on penalties after a 4-4 draw.

The 4-4 game when we beat them on pens, after extra time, was a cracker too.
A League Cup Quarter-Final under the lights at Easter Road, it was some game, where has the time gone?

Remember both those games. I was in the Cowshed when Pierce O'Leary blazed over in the other game and the east for the 4-3. Football was so much better back then. In the video the tackle Aitken does would be a red every day of the week and it isn't even a foul back in the 80s. Proper mans game and some brilliant play even on the surfaces shown on the video. I can vaguely remember the Scramash right at the end too. Easter Road may have been a dump but it was brilliant for those big game wins.

Shocking start in the league, whilst performing magnificently, scoring loads of goals in the League (Skol) Cup.

I remember that season well. Sunday Post hysteria about the casual menace had spooked my mum so much she tried to stop me going to games. There was a lot of fighting though to be fair.
It would be cool to bring back simple innocent chants like that 'we love you Hibees, We do.'

Yep, one of my all time favourite games, along with the 4-4 in the LC mentioned.
One of only two times we've beaten Celtic in the Scottish Cup.

The 4-4 game was some night . I remember Benny Brazil had the chance to win the tie with his pen but missed . Up stepped Pierce O’Leary and blazed it over . Magic .
The 4-3 game wasn’t too shabby either 😜SCOTTISH CUP WINNERS 2016
