So lets bloody well stay there! Anything less than bottom 6 is a disgrace for this club and sets back years of good work. If we start accepting mediocrity then we are setting ourselves back to the path we were on before that ultimately ended in relegation.
Top 6 should be the absolute MINIMUM requirement every season.

We’ve done ok in the last two games by my reckoning but I still think we are a long way off were we want to be. Small steps

Predictions with the optimistic realist cap on:
Us
St Johnstone a D=1point
Huns h L=0
Well h W=3
Livi a D=1
Killie h D= 1
Diet huns a D = 1
38 + 7 = 45points
St Johnstone
Hibernian h D=1point
Livi a D = 1
St Mirren h W=3
Well a D=1
Dundee h W=3
Killie a L=0
38 + 9 = 47points
Motherwell
Celtic a L=0points
Killie a L=0
Hamilton h W=3
Hibernian a L=0
St Johnstone h D=1
Sheep a L=0
Huns h L=0
36 + 4 = 40 points
So yes, a win against St Johnstone is vitally important. Also v. 'Well at home. If we don't win in Perth, and just take a point, we may need 'Well to do us the favour of beating St J. Even then we'd still need another one-point swing from somewhere else in these predictions.
Of course with the pure optimist cap on, we continue the winning streak right through to the split and overtake the other team.
