    The Scotsman teamed up with Glasgow university around a project which trawls twitter looking for the “breaking news”/hot topics on twitter. Moving with the times I presume iit got a filter for sifting through the crap/fake stuff.

    That website is almost unusable these days though, I know they are struggling but the few shekels all those scripts and ads bring in are counterproductive.
