A bit strange. If I was Kilmarnock I would be furious.

Birmingham are skint. Aberdeen have probably offered a much better financial package than Killie.

Completely shafted on this Stewart thing. Jones’ pre-contract and the subsequent pish on twitter. Mulumbu gone to Celtic. Brophy subject to interest. Boyd running his mouth off at every opportunity.
We’ve been there and it’s not nice. I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

Said if when him and Kane Hemings were for me the best striking partnership in the Championship despite playing for lowly Cowdenbeath that he’d do a job at a top level.

Aberdeen have probably an option to buy in place. Probably not or probably higher then Killie had. So Birmingham probably looked to sell to get the highest price. Shame for Killie but he is birminghams player.

Additionally, from the players point of view, if he plays well Aberdeen will offer him a 2 year contract on terms that Kilmarnock could never match.
Kilmarnock losing Mulumbu, Stewart and Jones is similar to what happened to us. As soon as you start punching above yourself you are parted from your best assets by bigger fish.
Our rebuild is continuing and i expect us to do well next season. The more money you have the easier and quicker it is to do the rebuild. By the end of the window we will have spent another large wedge of cash and will be looking for the next £3 million asset to rise to the surface.

Football's built upon supporter emotion, respect and interaction with players not always simply cold pragmatism?

Don’t give a flying f*** about Killie or the sheep tbh but the right thinking me tells me something does not feel right
In fact it sucks!
I do feel sorry for Stevie Clarke and Killie on this occasion
Perhaps they should change the rules regarding lending a player to two teams in the same league in the same season especially with Killie trying to do a Leicester it seems to give Aberdeen an advantage
No doubt money was involved be it upfront or as an increased percentage of his no doubt already substantial wage
As other posters have said what if he was at us for the first half of the season and Hearts for the second?Last edited by BILLYHIBS; 19-01-2019 at 07:49 AM.

He's going to get dogs abuse when he turns up to Rugby park, and rightly so.
Kind of feel bad for Killie on this occasion.

Was Scott Allan not supposed to be on loan at Dundee for the full season last year but celtic recalled him and then loaned his straight to us?
Or have I just made that up

It's certainly an odd one considering he was a total flop for them last season. It looks like Aberdeen have engineered this with Birmingham to shaft Kilmarnock.

Steve Clarke will probably go and get a better player in with his contacts down south
