Would cost us £100k and he won't be ready until March, so probably not.
Let Celtic keep picking up the tab.

Stephane Omeonga and Ryan Gauld have been added to our present midfield and take us to the end of this season.Last edited by CMurdoch; 18-01-2019 at 01:45 PM.

Get him back now. Match fitness? Play him for an hour or so for first few games, he is physically fit so after a few games will be back to the old Scotty we know & love.

We'd have the same issue with match fitness at the start of next season. If we can afford him, get him in now. We have Gauld who plays/played the same position, so we can bring him in and out of the team as needed, building up his match fitness.

We need him now, if we wait till the start of the new season, we still have to wait for him to get match fit!
Most players do seem to take time to settle in, but he's been here before so should help him.
As I said on another thread, could part of the stumbling block with Celtic be the McGinn affair????

With him playing the £100k pay off will only be a portion of what he can bring in through playing for the rest of the sason. As well as if we are developing and rebuilding, it might well help attract the type of player or targets to make their decisions to sign as well. Not mentioning the potential for ST sales again 💚👍

Our league position tells us that he’s needed now.
