Only the 6th largest inthe world which puts it above Russian. Also spoken in Capr Verde, Madeira, East Timor, Macau, Angola and Mozambique to name a few.

It would not be a huge leap and I’d imagine he probably does speak Spanish so that combined with Portuguese and English is pretty good coverage.

Plus He’ll be able to swear at Scottish refs and get away with it ;)
    Depends what website you read.
He'll be alright if a mob fi Mozambique want to sign him

In his interview today he very much speaks of his experience in Portugal in the past tense. Suspect he's been told he won't make it at Sporting and wants to come back to Scotland permanently. Hopefully he does well and we can negotiate a deal.

    Can I just clarify something.

Does being able to speak Portugese make him a better player?

If so, that's obviously where I went wrong, as I tried to learn Spanish when I was young.
Didn't you live in Germany? Were you holding the map upside down when you sailed for Spain?

I think Keekaboo should have studied geography. Not only did he end up in Germany after studying Spanish, but when he came back here I think he settled in Glasgow and not Edinburgh.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Daily Ranger reporting the Scottish Messi should make his debut today “ subject to international clearance”

Anyone know if this is through?

I have to ask... Why would a Scotsman need international clearance to play in Scotland?

He looks a real good signing off that performance.

    Was brilliant

Think we should just enjoy him while he’s here, can see a lot of teams interested in Ryan Gauld at the end of the season

I’ve no idea how these things work but I’ve always thought international clearance was something required when moving between two different associations, including coming from England? Could be wrong though.

Gauld done well today. Can see there’s a good player in there, will be interesting how he does against better sides.

I would imagine the international transfer of his playing licence?

Further research would indicate you are right... English regs, but probably the same in Scotland as it's a FIFA thing

An impressive debut, one of the best since Pa Kujabi (seriously, he looked great in his first few games).

So do we have him in a similar loan deal as we did Kamberi, with the option to buy at the end of the season

Could I just make a suggestion.

Before deciding what song we could sing about him, could we maybe just wait to see if he's actually any good?
    Sometimes I...
    Fantasise,
Of a Team of Stevie Mallan,
    Kamberi & Scotty Allan

Don’t these times, fill your eyes...
    Porto, Hanlon and Mcgregor,
David Gray up for the header.....

    All you wanna know...
The Scottish cup is coming home....

Victor Pallson. I thought we’d signed an absolute god from his first few appearances. To be fair he’s done quite well for himself since - was FC Zürich captain when they won the Swiss Cup last year. Coincidentally he’s also at Darmstadt now.
