    Glen Kamara

Strolled that in midfield today. Not sure whether it’s because our midfield was poor but he was very good. Think we’ll have missed any chance to sign him now though.

Best player on the pitch IMO. Reminds me of Vieira style wise.

We're clearly not interested in midfielders that can both win the ball and go forward with it, so we can forget about Kamara or anyone like him.

I dont know how good a player Kamara is, as i only see him play when its against us, and i could look good playing against our midfield?

He did play well today though.

    I’m sure we’ll find a cheaper option.

Should have bought him in the summer . Then sell him on in a few years for a tidy profit

We'll certainly be trying to, that's for sure. Maybe someone will be signed on the 31st of January.

What? When we don’t have a game for three weeks? Think of the wasted wages man.

Aye, imagine making a signing with enough time to bed him into your team.

He’d miss the trip to Dubai. Another waste of cash

He will need about 12 weeks to settle in anyway or to get fit

There were two obvious choices for us to replace McGinn and McGeogh and they were Kamara and Allan. We were too tight to get either. Still, money in the bank and all that.

Were Dundee not looking for £1m or something stupid for him? No way are we paying that for any player. Don’t think tightness - as you put it - comes into it.

we would have got him for about 3/400k plus a sell on I would think . Hibs allegedly wanted 5million for mcginn and got half that.

Without a doubt hibs have shown a bit of a lack of ambition in recruitment in the summer.

He’s out of contract in the summer so will be leaving for a lot less than that. Unless we make our best offer then we won’t know what Dundee will accept.

But in the summer it was widely reported they were looking for £1m. He will move for a lot less than that if Dundee decide to sell in January. Different story back in the summer though.

Based on today, he's a player we should be seriously pursuing.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Question is, will we be ambitious enough to go for him? We might have to spend some money but there is a decent chance we get it back at some point in the future.

If he’s their number 8 he bossed it today and showed several flashes of skill. Unfortunately if we did sign him he’d probably just end in with the rest of the mediocrity

Mc Gowan is a nutter, but he’s also a decent player. Played very well today.

Exactly. McGowan looked like a world beater today.

Thought Kamara was good first half then wasn't in the game second half.

He's a very good player. I'd be delighted if we managed to sign him but I think that ship has sailed
