Proper goal scorer, always makes good runs. Just needs decent supply which we haven't started doing yet.

With that facial hair, he does a fantastic impression of a 17th Century Spanish Pirate Captain.

All we need now is a Parrot, and our forward line will be complete.

Scored goals everywhere he's played, aside from Darmstadt. A very good striker and a great asset to Hibs. Looking forward to seeing him once he gets up to speed.

Getting Flo and Jamie playing together every week with a midfield providing enough supply for them is the key to success for us this season.

He hasn't been fit enough often enough and we haven't created quite enough. Because of that some people think he might be gash.

Which he most certainly is not.

Give Jamie the right kind of service and he'll score the goals. (Unlike last Friday night)

I agree. Let's give the guy a chance. He was great for us last year and will be again once he gets more games under his belt

He knows where the net is. Now that we are playing catch up to the clubs above, it will make it all the more satisfying to go after them..
Late November/December is - hopefully- going to be very exciting!

Jamie has the best facial hair since Rowan Vine. Vine's facial hair was gash and come to think of it he was gash that's Vine not MacLaren who is fine.

Can't believe we got him, what a signing!!

Cracking wee player, very clever and a great finisher. That other thread is an absolute crock. He's just getting back from injury and up to speed. And he's had no service at all virtually last couple of games.

Should not be playing up top on his own though.

Fit and up to speed alongside Kamberi equally fit and up to speed and we will be fine. Genuinely believe with these two, that the biggest problem will be holding on to them.

Really like Maclaren. Knows where the goals are that's for sure inside the box, players like him are needed. He could easily have got 2 on Friday due to his positioning. He was about to score a typical Maclaren goal with a tap in from Milligans knock down. He is also a full international and has already proven he can score goals at this level. Some of his goals against Rangers were brilliant, his header is very underestimated.

The other thread is embarrassing. Suppose people just long for the days of guys like James Collins and Rowan Vine.

  31. #30
His goal against Hearts and hat-trick v The Huns alone show he's far from rubbish. Need to get the partnership with Flo firing on all cylinders again, it yielded close to a goal a game last season.
