NESH (North East Scotland Hibernians) have hosted successful pre and post match gatherings at the last couple of games in Aberdeen. We are doing the same next Friday. HOWEVER we have changed our home pub. Halo is no longer owned by Hibs fans and has change its name back to The Office. We now base ourselves at The Butcher’s Arms, on the corner of George Street and Hutcheon Street. It was recently bought by a friend of NESH and we’ve been made very welcome the last few months.
It’s about a 15 minute walk from the stadium, has a good sized lounge bar which will be given to us and much cheaper bevvy! Unlike Halo, we’ve been promised plenty staff to cope with the demand. There may even be free pies!
If any busses are heading up early enough, they will be made welcome. Just let me know so I can gauge numbers.
Anyone making a weekend of it, it’s the NESH AGM on the Saturday from 5pm in the same venue so plenty of us will be out and about afterwards. All welcome to join us.

Not been in a few years but the Butchers used to be one of my locals in Aberdeen and it's a great pub. Would recommend.

For the avoidance of doubt, this is a week next Friday?
I think I was there a few times. Late 70s, though.

Only for reasons of passing years, of course.

Looking forward to this, felt a bit sorry for the Halo bar staff last time, don't think they were expecting quite that many folk.

Cheers for the hospitality last night - well filled beforehand with Hibs fans and not too far to walk down to Pittodrie. Popped in after for a pit stop en route to hotel, but the loud and obnoxious Aberdeen fan making a nuisance of himself was cue to move on! (Apologies if he is a friend of the North East Hibs!)
Hopefully become a regular Hibs rendezvous for future Aberdeen games, or at least until they move stadium.
