Sydney v Melbourne about to kick off soon with winners travelling to play Perth in the Grand Final next weekend.

I live in Sydney, but seriously hope Melbourne Victory hump the Sydney Rangers

They are widely believed to rort the mandatory salary cap, the guy who owned them (Frank Lowy) was at the same time once, the President of Socoz.

But at their conception they talked about how they would be the ‘bling’ team of the competition etc etc.

They represent more the moneyed eastern and northern suburbs, whereas Western Sydney Wanders are more the ‘working class’ team of Sydney

In the biggest game of the season.....the Grand Final between Perth and Sydney, Sydney score but the linesman/ref give offside.

It goes to VAR and despite it clearly being shown as NOT offside, the incorrect decision is upheld and the goal does not count.

    Strewth!

Can’t wait to see it introduced in Scotland

I’m here. Surprised to see Roy O’Donovan leading the line.

    Yeah!

Noticed Elvis just missed a chance to equalise or square the ball.

despite the fact the majority of Sydney based Hibees support them as opposed to 2 Wanderers fans.

Anyway looking forward to trip to new stadium . Should be a great atmosphere

Half time in the Sydney derby and Wanderers lead the Rangers 1-0.

Bit fortunate to be in front tbh.

Peach of a header for the goal.

Dylan McGowan in Wanderers ranks, with his brother Ryan McGowan in the Sydney team.

Commentator said the McGowan family were in the crowd...but don’t think their Dad will be there somehow.

Jamie MacLaren scores a beauty to put 10 man Melbourne City 2-1 ahead of Western United in a Melbourne derby.

Jamie also got the first goal, so he’s looking as if he’ll be MOM.

City fans singing...’Jamie MacLaren....he scores when he wants....’
