Thread: Myziane Maolida

    Myziane Maolida

It's such a shame we have this calibur of player in such a rubbish Hibs team, he has the potential to be one of the best forwards I have seen at Hibs, imagine him with a full pre season and playing with a few quality additions!!

Really hope there is a chance we can keep him, not likely I would imagine.

I'd be very happy with him and Youan in the forward positions next season, they have linked up very well together at times.

Got gut feeling Ellie will be sold

Agree, I'm sure other clubs would have noticed his performances and would be a big ask to see him return.

Yup, got a feeling he is not a happy boy at the moment, which is a shame, as he has real quality about him and contributes a lot.

He saved us from a play off battle. Scored in all but 2 of the games we took points in between joining and the split. Those goals were crucial even if they didn't quite fire us into the top 6.

He's a fantastic player and one I would love to think we could build around even if it seems unlikely.

A level above Hibs unfortunately, been a pleasure watching his contribution but he’ll not be here next season unfortunately.

Think we will lose him and Ellie which is far from ideal.

12 goals and 9 assists between them.

If we hadn’t signed Myziane I fear where we would be in the league table.

Guy is quality playing in a gash team.

If he was at either old firm team he would score a lot of goals.

He's been a good signing and does show Hibs can find good players within our budget. Just need a GK, 2 CHs, and 2 CM of similar quality to improve the team to a decent standard

I honestly think he is as good as any striker currently playing in our top league. A real quality player. We should be using some of the new investment to try and sign him.

The only way he will be in Scottish football next season is if he signs for one of the OF

Wouldn't surprise me if he stays in Scotland that's where he ends up. Better than most of what they have and definitely better than the boy they have on loan from Norwich.

Here's some epic clutching at straws by me but did Kensell not say just recently that some of the Foley money that was earmarked for infrastructure is now being diverted to the player budget? If so I hope some of it is to cover wages for Maolida for next season, if as has been reported Hertha would be open to him to going loan again as long as the bulk of his wages are covered by the loan team.

Or Bournemouth sign him and we get him on a season long loan 🙂

He said it on Monday night. Money earmarked for infrastructure is now going into the team as the off field stuff won't sell unless they get the onfield stuff right

Sell half the team and use the money to sign Myziane, he's top quality. Simples.
