If we think our refs are bad...the ref here watched that blatant non foul about 15 times on VAR before awarding the penalty. Bizarre decision.

If you think the SFA is dodgy, they have nothing on the administration here! Refs are mediocre at best and the FFA are dependent on getting their slice of transfer fees when a player moves clubs. The FFA took 85 delegates to the last World Cup as a “reward” for Australia qualifying, that’s over double the squad! Sorry if this deviates from the OP but when kids are paying the highest registration rates of any sport in this country and very little is going into grassroots football, the game is never going to grow here, and it gets on my chesticles.......rant over

Central Coast are unfortunately, a bit of a basket case.

No Usain Bolt, but the world’s least committed trainer, Ross McCormack, on holiday....oops I mean on loan from Aston Villa should be playing.

    It’s all kicking off!

Will take VAR half an hour to sort this lot out.

    Goodnight Fred!

Slight tenuous link but I Met an Aussie guy tonight in a bar in Singapore and after some general Football chat he started saying he was paying more attention to Scottish Football given the Aussies now playing for Hibs, he was in full flow telling me all about Milligan, McLaren and ‘their’ new guy Boyle. I let him go on for sometime as he described how he saw the Celtic match before telling him I’m a Hibee. He was telling me they (Aussies) are quite excited about Boyle as a prospect, basically his view was “if Milligan says he is a good addition and excited about having Boyle on board then we listen and are also excited”. The good name of Hibernian is spreading.

Out of interest who do you follow? I have friends in Melbourne but they have no interest in football. I like to have a team In each country and have chosen Melbourne but not a club.

For me - Brisbane Roar. I love the city and saw them a few years ago when MacLaren was playing for them (and scored v Perth Glory) long before he became a Hibs player.

Thinking about it Linfield would have been a more interesting answer.

Didn't get a penalty either. Looks like the officials are homers.

was wondering about that...if VAR can't be reviewed until the ball goes dead, what if that western Sydney had scored and then VAR had deemed it was a penalty, would it be given?
There has not been a VAR decision here that has been,in my mind, correct
