    Coaches leaving Technical Area

I thought coaches had to stay in the Technical Area , Frank Lampard got sent off for leaving this last week. But in Scotland with that "superb" referee Mr McLean the Aberdeen coach was allowed to trot down the sidelines to the back of the goal to pass info to their keeper.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think the referee was able to see anything bad that Aberdeen did tonight. If McInnes had strolled over the park to the keeper, I doubt the ref would have minded.

Probably deserves its own thread, but what was written on the note that McInnes passed to Shinnie?

I thought it might have been Aberdeen's game plan, but the stadium announcer did that when he said that there would be extra time and penalties if it was a draw at full time.

He would have told the 4th official some story about keeper requiring contact lenses, so was able to leave the technical area.

It's done all the time I'm afraid!!!!

Yeah, it definitely wasn't McInnes. He was way too tall.

But he was clearly sent out to pass on information. He went to the wrong end and didn't make any attempt to even pretend to be warming up. He just passed on the message and went back to the dugout.

I don't think there are any rules about which end the substitutes should warm up. I've seen Hibs send a sub to pass on something to a goalkeeper a few times over the years. I don't think it is a big issue.

If it was a player (looked a bit old) he should have been wearing a training bib. But as some one else said the ref didnt see anything wrong in Aberdeen all night.

The guy was actually on the pitch at one point... during the game.

Now, I realise it was only for a few seconds, but that's gotta be wrong.
