Stack announces retirement

Liked Stack. Gave his all. Technically not even close to what we have these days but can hold his head high when he thinks about his time here. Just a shame he was injured for that cup final. Stack joining that cringey Celtic huddle is one of the funniest things I've seen at the football.

Not as funny as when Craig Gordon was about to take a free kick for Hearts outside his box when a Rugby ball came bouncing into his path from the East Stand shortly after Hearts move to Murrayfield.
It even brought a smile to his dour coupon
I felt that Stack looked the part but we never saw the best of him as he always seemed to be injured.Last edited by BILLYHIBS; 21-09-2018 at 12:41 PM.

Has taken up a coaching position at Watford.
Possibly coaching armed combat given his Belgian League experience.
Anyway good luck to him. One of the few of that horrible period at ER who gave his all for the club.

I've seen him lumped in with the likes of Zibi, Smith and Simon Brown on here and I'm not really sure why. A good keeper that was unfortunately plagued with injuries.
