    Worst strip ever? Discuss...

I know we've had the Hertz away strip of a few years ago, and the 'banana' Newcastle strip...but would anyone wear this??

You need to Google 'Russian team lucky rug strip'

  4. #3
You'd look a bit of a silly sausage wearing that...

Not sure I'll do that at work though

It's obviously awful but it doesn't qualify as a worst strip ever for me. They have set out to make a terrible strip so in that sense it's actually good.

To be truly terrible someone has to have signed it off thinking 'that looks good'or 'that will sell'. Someone obviously actually liked Coventrys brown effort or Celtics 1991 away kit.

Not the worst ever but still want to get a dig in anyway..... this seasons home strip, collar is an utter shambles and to be honest I think there’s to much bottle green, would have preferred them to fade it with the emerald green dominating.

Wish they would get fans involved in the designs, would be much better.

I've seen a few bad ones in Bridies and The Western back when I was a lad.

Shouldn't the title be the wurst strip ever? As PB says this takes some beating.

Not sure it beats the recent Rostov effort.

Yep, no other strip can EVER compete with that one,...even although Celtc have tried very hard on many occasions.

When done well pink football strips are fantastic.

Palermo have had a few crackers and Juventus had one with a black star a few years back that looked good. It’s also one it’s so easy to get wrong.

Again changing the subject but for me the best kit in Scottish football this year is the Dunfermline away kit. It’s brilliantly simple and effective:

It’s a beaut. I really like the Man City away top too. Sometimes teams manage to put something out that is actually stylish. Some Hibs strips have aged well for retro appeal but I’ve never really loved any of them on release. It shouldn’t be hard to put something together which is really classy in green and white.

Cov City played at ER in that strip. Pre-season friendly.

Since their formation Inverness Caledonian Thistle have consistently produced absolutely howling kits.

Some teams seem to often have minging away shirts. Celtic, Newcastle and Chelsea come to mind.

There is something wrong with me as I think that looks reasonably smart compared to some of the shockers over the years.

This one is my favourite though! Doesn;t look too bad until you look closely at the shoulders.....

Just ordered the away kit for Clapton, inspired by those who went to join the fight against the fascists in the Spanish civil war. Really smart kit.

Arsenal’s old bruised banana kit from the late 80s is the best ‘ugly’ kit of all time imo.

Going against the grain, but actually quite like that. Reminds me of some of the St Pauli strips.

Hearts' yellow and pink Mr Blobby effort surely has to be worst...
