Am I right in thinking that the club gets the solidarity payment for every round and not just the round they go out in?
If so we get:
1st round €240,000
2nd round €260,000
3rd round €280,000
Which would be €780,000 guaranteed and getting past Molde would take that to €1,080,000?
Decent money for the run (of course hope we get to the real big money games in the groups).....
Does cost a fair whack to travel each round mind but still not to be sneezed at.

Don't forget the home gate receipts as well. Runavik, Tripoli and now Molde. Hibs clearing well over a million for this run at a minimum now.

Outstanding again tonight. Is he the best Hibs player since the 70s?

Either way, the accounts for this financial year must be looking pretty healthy.

I presume the same as the last two draws, hibs will take molde’s seeding for the play off round should we win as the draw will be before the completion of the tie?

Are Molde seeded for the play off? If so then I think yes.

Even if we go out against Molde we would probably make more from this European run than if we won the league cup for example.

Expensive charter flights and late to arrange hotel bills will eat into that cash but the home gates are a great boost for the coffers. Not sure if we get anything from the away TV coverage.
Maybe more importantly, it should be a boost for the players' confidence going into the new season...

If we get to the Play Off tie we have guaranteed €1.08m which at current exchange rates is £1m.
Reach the group stage and “base fee” as UEFA call it is another €2.92m (£2.6m).
Then it’s €190,000 (£170,000) per point won.
Mind boggling figures for a team like Hibs. Effectively, reaching Group Stage would generate virtually 50% above our normal annual revenue and that’s before any points money, gate money, tv money is added.
All money that we can spend wisely on strengthening the squad AND could, for example, mean we can afford to keep SJM for the season, sign Scott Allan in January and bring Jamie Maclaren back NOW.
Oh please let it be!!
