    John Mcginn

For me he was outstanding tonight. Drove us forward all night.

Despite all the speculation he's been a complete pro

    We've got Mcginn.....

Hopefully clubs were watching him and are gonna come in with offers which he deserves,

Best I have seen him play under Lennon. Was like the mcginn of 15/16. All over the place winning tackles, intercepting passes and driving forward.

Absolutely superb, out of this world actually.

Any club watching him tonight thinking he’s a £1.5m player are completely off their tits.

He’s a £5/6m player, the fact someone can probably pick him up for around half that now is a sin, the fact a club as rich as Celtic are trying to get him for around £1.5/2m is nothing short of a disgrace.

Pay up Celtic or **** off. He's worth more to us than your pathetic offering.

    Well done John McGinn!
Another high octane, driven performance that shames Celtic FC in their attempts to steal him for a pittance.
£4 million for Scott Brown over "TEN" years ago and they offer us peanuts for a player who would be groomed to take over Broonies role...Despicable and contemptious behaviour by the Glasgow club.
Cough up Celtic or give up!

Absolute beast of a player - magnificent.

I'll remember these days because of mcginn! grabs a game by the scruff of the neck and says "camere you".unreplacable!.if I was rod or LeAnn I'd put a sign on the door saying no mcginn bids welcome.#onemoresuperyear!!!

****** Celtic. It’s clear they aren’t going to come in with an offer that matches our valuation of him. Players like John McGinn have made Easter Road a great place to be recently and I’d rather we had the luxury of watching him play every week for the next year than take 2 million for him which we need to share with St Mirren.

Time for a club down south to come in and pay exactly what John is worth. Otherwise, I’ll happily lose him for nothing at the end of the season if it means we get to see performances like tonight

What a performance from him. Played out his skin tonight and we are really going to miss him. Hopefully we still have him for the second leg!!

Celtic should just be told he’s not being sold unless the offer is too good to turn down. Less of this £250k increments pish.

If anything his value increased tonight. £4m plus Allan or they can forget it. Would rather have McGinn for the year and lose him for nowt. You can’t place a value on performances like that.

    Super John McGinn,
2 Million? I just don't think you understand.....
Great second half performance by the team,
utterly great performance from start to finish by McGinn.

Keep him and let him go for free next year. I don't care about the money, just want to enjoy seeing this Hibernian legend grace the shirt for one more season.

was unreal tonight, no chance he'll be leaving hibs for cheap this summer.

Agreed, it is rare that we have someone with his talent and drive at the club, we don't need the £££ we need to see SJM for another season. SJM is a £5mil player everyday of the week and I would happily forgo that £5m to watch him this season. He was so happy tonight, he gets us, he's a Hibs legend and a winner. I'd be devastated to see him run out at ER in anything other than a Hibs top.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Interesting tweet from Tam McManus -

Hearing John McGinn was magnificent tonight for Hibs. Plenty of scouts at the game tonight one I just spoke to (from English Championship) came away from the match raving about him.

    MOTM.

He justified tonight why we value him at £4M-£5M.

What a boy! The big fist pump he gave to the east stand at full time was quality.

Not once did it go through his head tonight that if he flies into a tackle and gets injured then his move could be off, took the game by the scruff of the neck and drove us on to victory.

One of my favourite players in my time watching Hibs.

    100% as always... class act!!

From 1st to last minute he was immense.
