Stop making me jealoue regards a beer on such a nice day
    On antibiotics.

I read that Flo wanted to continue with 22 as its his dads birthdate.

Now,the thought that the number 9 is on hold for Sparky is worth a beer or 3 ! Or 9 !!

McGregor or Efe will be #5, Mallan #7, Allan #10. Be interesting to see who our #9 will be, either a new signing or Shaw.

I thought Allan preferred no. 20

He was #10 in the season he left, so presumably he chose that.

Can’t see Boyle being given the number 10

Would be strange that he wouldn’t just wear his normal 17 yesterday, given everybody else had their regular squad number on.

I think most of us have been in a dressing room where if number 10 is going spare someone will be deperate to take it.

Boyle is a bit of a livewire by all accounts so maybe just him having a bit of fun wearing the 'glamour' number?

Boyle is a starman standing on the wing #7 and #10 still up for grabs #9 Sparky IMO

Na I think he’s probably been given it. He’s one of our biggest attacking threats and a favourite of Lennon as well.

SJM wears 7 hence why Boyle chose 17 last season, usually squad numbers aren't worn pre season. I don't think numbers are too important nowadays anyway, Dylan had 10 and didn't exactly play as an attacking midfielder in the hole, he sat deeper like a number 6. McGregor wears 24 because Hanlon wears his favourite 4.

I think it's sproule's fault, but I always associate #17 as being the fastest player in the squad.

Likewise. If a team has a winger that is number 17 I instantly assume they’re rapid.

Based on this logic Whittaker will get the number 7 shirt for the new season I assume?

I'm sure McGregor has worn number 24 at us, rangers and st.mirren?

Didn't realise that, as I said though squad numbers mean very little nowadays as sometimes they are personal to the player like Kamberi.
