Decent start then Celtic (A), Rangers (H) & Hearts (A) to finish the first cycle.

Hearts game last of the 11. Not sure about that, will give their 2813872157385397 new signings some time to gel together.
Rangers have 2 home ties against only 2 of the teams in last year's top six now.

So much for my Rangers first up predictions. Logic dictated it would be Gers or Dons due to Europa League.
Obviously powers that be didn't want our Govan chums to come a cropper first up so gave them Dons, who usually lie down against them, first up.
You couldn't make it up.

Should comfortably be top 3 by the time we face Celtic, very kind start. A bit of a trend now that we play all our tough games back to back though

Aberdeen guarenteed to be in QR2, Rangers technically the more likely to progres to it also.Mon the Hibs.

The best part is if we win our first game we'll have a head start on Aberdeen as they will definitely lose to Rangers.

Potential for a really good start there. No reason to lose any of those first 8 games.

If we had the same top 6 this season as last then we would have after the split
Celtic home
Aberdeen away
Hearts home
Rangers away
Killie away
If we are in the mix with Aberdeen and rangers then that's massive having them both away

Round 33, last match pre-split - look fwd to consigning the Gunts to the bottom six.

Why is there no game the weekend of 18/19th August? Is it an international weekend?

They play Portugal on the 14th of October. Could it be the League cup semis?
