Very surprised at the number of empty seats in Cardiff.

Should say, good game, Wales putting up a fight here but similar to the game a couple of weeks ago the second half will be huge.

100 quid a ticket, Friday night. Add overnight accommodation if you don't live in Cardiff plus food and drink it's a 250 pound night out. Rugby needs to take a look at pricing for the 6 nations. Scotland is the same. Can't remember exact prices but I'm sure the adult tickets this year were from cheapest 76 to 116 per ticket. Autumn internationals are a far far better option for attending matches just due to oricing

The price of the tickets for it were ridiculous, apparently.

I'm enjoying the Friday night under the lights game a lot more than the Sunday afternoon affairs. Seems much livelier and much more atmospheric.

Been a tense affair - Wales still in it without being spectacular - what they do best, really. France look like they have gears to go up but they need to stop the stupid mistakes.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Jesus Christ I though we were hard done by at £86 a skull a couple of weeks ago.

Rugby needs to have a ****ing good look at itself, hopefully these empty seats give the Welsh something to think about.

The more stadiums sell out though, the more this will carry on.

Agree entirely, much rather have a game on a Friday night than a dreary Sunday afternoon, inevitability against Italy.

Been a good game yes, good to see what Wales are doing differently to what we did, namely not continual silly errors.

Scotland very keen to help Italy out with the schoolboy errors

3-0 4 mins played, i do hope finn russels kicking improves after that very poor kick over the opposite side of the pitch just basically handing the opposition the ball, Rank

finn russell pass intercepted puts a lot of pressure on Scotland

then a Scottish interception lets Scotland in for a try

    3-12

25 mins italians miss a penalty

Totally agree about the advantage. Is there no rule about the amount of time or phases of play that can be applied or is it all at the ref's discretion?

Scotland have had very little ball in the first 30 mins

we're not too pleasing on the eye here so far

and yet Scotland were given an advantage earlier in this game for an Italian Knock-on and Advantage lasted two small passes along the back

Knock on advantages are always shorter, usually a couple of phases or until the opposition kick. Penalties are given longer as deemed to be a worse transgression

Dont disagree that some penalty advantages are far too long though

Thought Scotland weren't great struggled a bit with Russell kicking the ball away all the time. Gave away a few poor tries imo. Assume Ireland will convincingly beat Scotland.

Some start to England Ireland red card in one minute think correct decision hugely reckless head in head. Excellent Irish try

100% red card. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand the laws of the game as they are now. That is exactly the kind of contact that world rugby are trying to stop. Concussion is a huge issue in the game

totally agree - tacklers are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the opposition player, it’s reckless, and whether it’s accidental or not, he had plenty time to adjust his body position to avoid head contact

Resulted in a serious head knock for the Ireland player, definitely a red.

Despite being down to 14 England are playing well here, fair play

I don't know an awful lot about rugby but 22 points seems quite a high number of points for Italy score in a match.

I note they actually scored 22 points against France two years ago but other than that you need to go back to 2018 for the last time they scored more than 22 points against a side that's currently ranked above them.
