We’re going to get blown away if we keep giving away stupid penalties again!

The long break has clearly not benefited us.

Scotland very poor. Getting bad vibes that Ireland will walk this.

Scottish lineouts not too good today

Ireland vs Scotland is like Aberdeen vs Hibs, no matter how guff they are we (normally) can't buy a win against them.

How many stupid penalties do Scotland give away. Honestly some of the players are playing like they don’t know the rules

F me, the ref gives Scotland a penalty there, it’s a miracle.

Russell kicks it out on the full. Says it all.

Sometimes we just seem to do the basics right. My old rugby teacher at school would be going mental

We’re our own worst enemy a lot of the time (lineouts, penalties today), but Ireland were gifted a try that clearly looked held up.

Our ineptitude as a national rugby team is truly impressive. Smaller nations than us frequently find success but we continue to excel at failing.

Would like to see Townsend move on. I was never a fan and despite all of the “promise”, he can’t seem to get us to that elite level. Shake up and build toward the 2023 World Cup.

****ing amateurish. Some of those mistakes would not be tolerated at the level I played at for years. Lineout was a total disgrace. Some of the penalties given away are plain stuoid. Some of the handling errors were shocking

Spot on. They’re more interested in being gym bunnies rather than do the basics right

You had to register by the weekend tho. Just ticket packages on sale today, individual match tickets go in sale next year.

Boom, 6 Scotland passes in the bag. €140 for 4 games is superb.

Did we win one all game? Absolutely blew the opportunity when taking the lead just before half time and then horrific to lose a penalty from our possession at 24 all. Sums up Russell with that penalty to the corner too much trying to be the smart erse at times. Gatland probably put a pen through his name at that point missed a very kickable penalty also. Appreciate Ireland will have analysed our lineout plays but dear oh dear that was horrific how poor we were gifted possession over and over.

Gavin Henson makes his rugby league debut for Llanelli Raiders against Widnes this weekend at age 39. This was a team that were gubbed a record 144-0 a few years ago but seem to have their arse in gear and have also signed Rangi Chase (34) as they try to climb the league's and make a dent into solid Union Territory.

Great match in Dublin. Fine try by Earls and the Greens take the lead.

so it's england that finish 2nd bottom then pleased for eddie jones

Scotland hand the Italians their heaviest defeat this season, i think this must be their worst season with continuous heavy defeats

    lost France 10-50
    lost England 41-18
    lost Ireland 10-48
    lost Wales 7-48
    lost Scotland 52-10

    and i got £48 back on a Handicap Scotland-26 win :)

France v Wales up next should be a great game

Wales have had significant refereeing decisions going their way throughout the Championship. Their last try looked held up to me.

They’re obviously a decent side but Scotland would have had them but for the red card. The refereeing in their game against England was terrible too.

the Tmo (is that what they call it?) clearly didn’t want to contradict the official, it looked held up to me.Johnathan Davies just can’t be objective, he’s the only rugby pundit who shows his national bias.

Davies shouldn’t be commentating on Wales matches. He’s the most biased sports commentator I’ve ever heard, and that includes Jimmy Hill!

    Brian Moore is excellent.

Some superb stuff played by Scotland today, albeit against Italy it’s always great to see them play free flowing rugby.

Penalty after penalty being given away by Wales in the 22. There should be three in the bin by now.
