    aussies are pretty poor

    england should win this

    10-21

    another poor Oz knock-on

Try Oz 15-21 con to come

    17-21

aussies have had a lot of the ball the last 10+ mins, they need that try though

wow and yet again another error

FT 17-21 time to change channel in case eddie jones is on

quite an amazing stat that, after two games and 20 mins wales have been in the SA 22 only six times and have came away with five tries

    10-5 con missed

    FT 30-14 SA

Georgia beat Portugal 23-14, now just need Scotland and USA v Chile today for my four fold

USA lead by just one point from the 1st leg, Winner goes to the WC

I'm sure I heard the commentator say that an Argentina prop was 24st. Surely not.

very poor from rufus McLean jeezo totally isolated himself

    pen Argentina 13-14

these line-outs are shocking, that's our 3rd own line-out loss

MMmmm taking a penalty from near the half-way line now because we can't trust our own line-out

    hits the crossbar

great start to the 2nd half, Try 13-19 difficult con to come, lovely kick 13-21

what an erky Scotland made with that Argentinian restart

long career ahead for Darge if he keeps up performances

much much better Try 13-26 van der merwe, converted 13- 28

Scotland concede a penalty once again from the restart

Argentina try 18-28 get those restarts sorted 20-28

Blair has played brilliantly today: he was unlucky with the penalty off the bar. Darge has been exceptional at the breakdown today.

freakin absolutely incredible another loss at our line-out, in 40+ years of watching top tier rugby i've never ever saw a Scottish performance like this

thank god for Argentina knocking on again, then of course we gift it away again

is their insider betting going on here

So many mistakes and silly penalties whilst in possession in that 2nd half it was ridiculous, surely had to take the 3 pts when we were 4 ahead. 🙁

especially after losing, i think at that stage, EIGHT of our own line-outs

i had to laugh when 3 or four times they won a scrum and cheered like they had won the WC, even they should have eventually realised the resulting kick for touch would be lost anyway...like it was time and time again

Townsend can leave tomorrow - you don't take your captain off when your backs are against the wall with 5 minutes to go. You don't leave the same knackered prop on for 80 minutes. It's the same every time we play: penalty after penalty after penalty, and a total lack of ability to convert set pieces (our line-out was as bad as I've ever seen it tonight).

We're not progressing under Townsend - quite the opposite - we've regressed to a sorry, sorry side.

Thank goodness I get to see another season of Boff in an Edinburgh shirt though - he won't be there long if he keeps playing the way he has this past year.

A dejected Hamish Watson has been giving his reaction to Sky Sports:

"It's a very different feeling to last week", he said. "We were architects of our own downfall.

"We let them back into the game - when we were receiving, we couldn't get out of out half.

"Our set-piece wasn't good enough today - it's tough when your lineout doesn't work
. We need to stick together, and build on this for the autumn."

It's like a stock phrase for Scotland players.

Townsend can gtf for me. Huge mistake in letting Cotter go. Do we ever practice restarts? ****ing years we have been a joke at restarts. Scottish Rugby needs a complete overhaul. I have spoken about it at length before but we are a disgrace at grass roots to under the pro teams. A ****ing shambles but we paper over the cracks as the national side has been ok. We'll sadly we are not ok any more. We need to learn from Ireland. Schools and club rugby is the foundation if their success. Schools rugby in Scotland is for private schools only in the main. There is hardly any rugby played at our main stream Schools and that has to change. Invest that BT sponsorship money into grass roots clubs and schools and get more kids playing. Depressing
