There’s been speculation on various threads who we might draw in our first Europa League tie on Tues 19th June. Before that though, and equally as intriguing, we’ll find out on 15th June how our league season maps out.
Official announcement here - https://spfl.co.uk/news/article/fixt...n-a-fortnight/
Anyone care to speculate who our first game will be against?
Will it be Home or Away?

One thing for sure The Rangers first four or five will not be against any of the top four. Have to ease SG in. It's the SPL way.

Rangers to get two home ties to Celtic, Aberdeen, Hibs, Kilmarnock and Hearts.
In all seriousness though, the only thing for certain is that the first derby will be at Tynecastle (given the first one last season was at ER). We'll more than likely be away to Celtic and home to Rangers the first time we play them too.

I'm going for a home game versus Sevco first game.
Substitutue Gerrard for Souness and we have a re-match of that glorious day back in 1986.
The media will be demanding it !

Hibs, Aberdeen and Rangers should all be handed Sunday matches. Last season the live games were published on 7th July. We won’t have played a European game by that date this year

I’m not hoping for these, I’m just predicting what I think will be scheduled.

St Mirren and Celtic both to be at home as Champions.
We were at home last season. I reckon we will be away first up this season.

If the fixtures are meant to be evened out over two seasons then Sevco should have to go to ER, Celtic, Aberdeen, Killie and the PBS twice before the split. The post-split fixture shenanigans will then crop up again. Presume though that the fixtures will be amended to avoid this issue which continues to show the unfairness of a split after an uneven number of matches.
I do like the concept of a split but on a fair and equitable basis.
