That was my first thought, but he did just sign a new deal at spurs so might cost them a bit (I know money is not much of an issue for them) but could they maybe go with the cheap option in Conte? and Zidane to Chelsea?

Don't they (allegedly) have an agreement with the ex Napoli manager, should Conte leave?

When I saw Bale's interview after winning the Champions League I was wondering who would want to try to be in charge of such a bunch of utter cocks.

That was Zinedine Zidane he was disrespecting. A man who aside from not being too shabby a player had just won his third consecutive Champions League as a manager.

The egos at these clubs are bordering on uncontrollable now, and I wouldn't blame a man like Zidane for not wanting to have anything to do with them.

    I love his touchline persona.

He looks like a Balkan thug who can't wait for his next hit. All brooding and scary as F.

His face cracked a bit the other night when Bale scored. A bit.

You can’t, but there’s a time and a place to discus your unhappiness. Not on the pitch after you’ve just won the CL

Well it would seem he is free to take the job if he wanted since according to this BBC article about Zidane, Lennon mustn't be the manager of any club at the moment, given their description of him

    He also won:

    Bordeaux[3]

    Juventus[3]

    Real Madrid[3]

    France[3]

I won't begin to bore you with the UEFA player of the year awards, FIFA Player of the Year Awards, Balon D'or, etc etc.

    Bale has won

    Real Madrid

He is 28 maybe got 4 decent years left..he won't even begin to touch Zidane's record and most of what he has won has been under Zidane as manager. He should show some respect to his manager, his club and his teammates. He would have had no trouble getting a move to PSG or Man City without the need to moan like a girl who wants a new Barbie straight after his team won the Champions League and the medals hadn't even been handed out yet.

His move to Real Madrid has not only made him an incredibly rich man, but it has also meant he has won 4 champions leagues...he won't do that at Man City or PSG...I suspect he will win the square root of F all, other than domestic trophies once he moves.

I can’t see Chelsea making a move for anyone. Good chance Abramovich cuts all investment now that he no longer has a visa.

He solved that problem by taking Israeli citizenship.

But why spend money on Chelsea when he can’t watch them? He will be trying to get as much of his cash out the uk as possible now I think as it will no longer be seen as safe. One more crisis and the uk govt will start freezing assets of the like of abramovich.

Zidane could take over the French team if they have a bad WC.
